Do you have banked messages?

If you’ve previously recorded messages, and you have those messages banked in files on your computer, Talk to Me, Goose! now allows you to upload those messages and store them in your Favorites categories for playback in the app.

What is required?

Audio files that are stored in .wav or .mp3 files and stored on your hard drive can be uploaded to Talk to Me, Goose! for playback. The process is simple. If files are stored in archives like .zip files, they will need to be extracted first to a folder so that individual files can be uploaded, but multiple files can be uploaded in a single session. We just cannot accept an archive file at this time.

How does the process work?

You will log in to the Talk to Me, Goose! website using the same credentials that you use for the mobile application to access your account. If you used Google Sign On or your AppleID, you would do the same on the website to authenticate to the server here. This will connect you to your personal account. If you signed in to the mobile app with your email and set a password, that would be the process you would use on the website.

Once you are logged in, you will be able to select the files that you want to upload. You can select multiple files at one time. The system can process several files at once, but the more files you select, the longer it will take to process them all. You can also do the process more than once.

After selecting and uploading the files, you will be presented with a screen in which our AI-enabled geese co-pilots have attempted to transcribe the audio from the uploaded files to match what they heard in the audio recordings for each file. You should double-check that these transcriptions match what you expect. There will be a link to an audio-player to be able to listen to the uploaded file to do so. If there is an error, you can correct the transcription on the screen accordingly. And, once you are happy with the transcription, you can select the category of Favorite into which you want to store the recording, and click on Confirm Transcript. The file will be saved in your account and available for playback in the Favorites tab in your app, in the category within which you just saved it. If you choose not to save a particular file, you can Discard the transcript as well on this same screen.

What next?

Once you’re finished, you can go back into the app, and you should have access to your pre-recorded, banked messages in your favorites for playback on demand. These are not synthesized messages using the cloned voices or AI, these are the actual recordings that you just uploaded. Enjoy!
